Korean Protest Culture

Whosucks.com brilliantly sums up the various reasons and ways Korean protest. Some are hilarious, others disturbing, but they all have a certain non sequitur flavour that I just find fascinating. For example, what's the connection between protesting a decision to move a military office to Incheon and ripping a live piglet? Or even better, protesting Lotte Mart decision to sell American beef by throwing manure at the local butcher; at least Roger Moore made the effort to track down the corporate decision makers.
